Hello to all my friends,

It has been ages before I come to update this journal. I have been preoccupied with other activities that I haven't been into bloggin. I miss chatting with you guys and miss visiting your journals too. I know I have so much to make up but do bear with me as I slowly fit in my schedule for everything.

Just back from Krabi, Thailand. It has been a refreshing holiday after a month and a half here in Dhaka. Colleen came back from Paris and spent the winter break with us for 2 weeks. She left yesterday as her classes start tomorrow, Monday. She has arrived safely in Paris, we all spoke with her shortly after our dinner. 

Today is my birthday and am still dealing with the absence of Colleen. This is my first birthday without her and I tried to make the most for Alex, with or without Colleen with us, we have to get on with our normal lives and routines. I tried to make it as normal as I can though deep inside, the wish she is with us is an extreme emotions to deal with. Alex gave me the birthday card she left with words full of love and wishes, distance has truly made us more attach to each other. She is not her for me to hug and I cried the whole day. When the boys came home, I felt a little better. The three of us celebrated it simply.

All for now and see more of you in the coming days. Enjoy the flowers I received.... And thanks to all who sent me their wishes.....Cheers !!!!

Happy Birthday Phoebe.. wish you have many many more birthdays to come all year long and a healthy life together with your lovely family. I miss you and been thinking of you, but we are far to reach to give you a big hugs and a kiss on your bithday. All I can see is you have a lovely birthday with your boys and I felt in tears when you said you were crying without Colleen.. its must be different without her celebrating your birthday, but life must go on.. as long as she is extend her wish and a lot of love to you thats all matter. Hi Lanie, Thanks for ur time dhay. Your thoughts have counts and thanks as well for a comforting words. I only think that we always have to be thankful for a half full glass. Indeed, I got so much to thank. Colleen said in her letter that she is a "puzzle", one piece missing she will never be complete and that's mommy. I can say same thing as well, but for me she is more than half the pieces of the puzzle (wink) and smiles!!!. Our closeness is getting more with the distance but this will be our challenge. Belated Happy-Happy Birthday Ate Phoebs! You looked great as usual! Love all the photos, Alex is growing into a handsome young man. I've missed Colleen as well. Nakakapanibago that she wasn't there celebrating with you all. I was teary eyed when you said that you cried the whole day, that must have been really hard for you. Pero sige lang Ate Phoebs, in heart, she was there celebrating with you. I'm sure she was happy, knowing that you did your best and made the most for Alex. Hi gay, I saw Ninev in ur blog,napakasarap niyang kurutin. I love her little frills. Thanks for being there and the comforting words. I get to adjust it but I really should not show to Alex the difference. I love them both but I can relate more with Colleen. We slept together and talked up to wee hours. She said to me for whoever she is now, it's because of me. In her card, she wrote, "Mom, am like a puzzle, without your pieces, I will never be complete" Kaya ako umiyak lalo. She is so endearing and so matured. You can talk to her any topic and just love the moments when we are like friends. Anyway, salamat ulit and give ninev a hug for me and for u a big one. (smiles)

I know the feeling you are into right now. LIke they say, kids will somehow use their own wings and fly away, but certainly as parents, you will be stronger as days goes on and for sure them too will be stronger because now they are trying to function as an individual and will find themselves perhaps they never knew they can be that strong like you. So keep up the good spirit and cry if you need to. Somehow letting those sad tears flow over your lovely, baby skinned like, shinny face helps a lot.They maybe turned into crystals when you let them dry but man, it sure will make you feel a whole lot better afterwards.. not that I am laughing at you, I want to smile and laugh with you.. and give you hugs too.

Am feeling good now. I have digested the situation but so far it did not give me diarrhea nor constipation ( ha ! ha!) We had our black and white ball last night, really good.
